Chantel Cofie is a truly multifaceted talent. Born from an Egyptian Mother and a Ghanaian Father she has a stunning youthful look. From her start in the arts at just 6 months old, she is now a professional singer, songwriter, musician, actress and screenwriter.

Her latest performance startled the nation after appearing on Season 10 of The Voice Australia. The coaches gave her a 4-chair turn and a standing ovation after she sung her original ‘2020’ for the blind auditions; a song inspired by the Black Lives Movement. With 1.72 million viewers watching that night, her audition has generated plenty of repeated views across all platforms. She later released her debut EP, “PRESSURE”, with her 2023 end-of-year Spotify streaming at 4.4 Million and counting.

NEW RELEASES

Not Fair

21st November

The very anticipated release from Chantel, after spending the last year exploring new territories in music and travelling overseas to the UK, the evolution of her sound is very clear, and Not Fair is set to pave a new creative path for the Sydney-based artist.  The song delves into the concept of forbidden love - separated by cities, drawn together by lust, caught up in a love affair. Not Fair explores the story of what it feels like to be on the receiving end of a complicated love story and fighting the urge between seduction and doing the right thing.
